We have a powerful new tool to overcome some of the initial "prejudices" we form when meeting someone in person-- the Internet. Meeting people online allows us to get to know someone's soul before we see how that soul is packaged. And if my personal experience is the norm, the package doesn't matter once you know the soul.

The Tolerant Friends Webring was created to link all the sites of those who have made friends with someone online who is "different" from them in some way. Or for those who have found their tolerance, understanding and compassion increased because of something they saw or read on the Web.
