I Love You

I love your lips when they're wet with wine
And red with a wild desire;
I love your eyes when the lovelight lies
Lit with a passionate fire.
I love your arms when the warm white flesh
Touches mine in a fond embrace;
I love your hair when the strands enmesh
Your kisses against my face.

Not for me the cold, calm kiss
Of a virgin's bloodless love;
Not for me the saints' white bliss,
Nor the heart of a spotless dove.
But give me the love that so freely gives
And laughs at the whole worlds' blame,
With your body so young and warm in my arms,
It sets my poor heart aflame.

So kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
Still fragrant with ruby wine,
And say with a fervor born of the South
That your body and soul are mine.
Clasp me in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we'll live our whole young lives away
In the joys of a living love.

Let The River Flow


I often wonder which way to go
Standing in the middle of life's glow
Raging rapids are ahead it seems
The sun seems so far away with it's warm beams

Let the the river flow
The twists and turns will never be straight
All I can do is face the fate
My heart is heavy I know not why
I sit and ponder with a heavy sigh

Let the river flow
The sun reflects like diamonds on me
Altough the brillance I cannot see
My eyes are dimmed with thoughts of you
My heart is breaking after..our adieu

Let the river flow
Grass of green..sky of blue
Reflections of eyes..and hearts insue
Reaching for the pinnacle of things unknown
All seems ..so vague..so far away from you I've grown

Let the river flow
In your arms I had a peace
In your kiss I was held without ..release
Your heart and mine..two of a kind
My eyes in your love were blind
