Volume 3

This is a very true story, however the details became very vague, as I didn't take notes. When I say vague, I mean almost made up . However, Lord Wind, I suggest taking a look at Chaos in ILSH at the part where it is still shrunken, as confirmed by the two in the story.

The Ankle Bite from the Holey Tragety

I walked into the Britain outdoor pub to see if they had gained any waiters yet. As usual, all that greeted me was the much abused sign with the old OSI slogan, "I'm sorry, I cannot help you with that." Much to my surprise one Lady Bliss and a Unus Occultus appear at my side both out of breath but Lady Bliss favoring her leg.

As the story goes, they had one of the first couple to go out and fight after the great hole mishap of the day. Such an event defined my writing career as never before. Anyway, they told me their tale and I share it with you.

Apparently not all holes have been filled. The two had been traveling to Chaos to check out the Slayer and to make sure he took his "nap." Much to their surprise, there wasn't anything visible at the spawn. They walked to the very back of Chaos without seeing any sign of life, dead or otherwise. Yet, as Unus explained to me, they could SENSE something there; an evil that is usually found there.

And then out of the ground a monstrous hand reached out and grabbed Lady Bliss's ankle. The metallic skin of the Slayer was obvious. Apparently the holes at Chaos hadn't been fixed. With one tug, Lady Bliss was at the Slayer's level but she had the sense to get Unus down there with her. The Slayer reached once more for Lady Bliss but she used her 3 inch nails (she informed me she was due for a manicure the next morning) straight at the things eyes.

As they told me, the thing let out a bellow of rage and switched targets to Unus Occultus. It was then that Unus realized that he had left his Scythe at home. Being his most powerful weapon, it was at his side almost every time he left home. Apparently he had been out skinning Hiryu's and had left the Scythe at home while he carried his Skinning knife; as the knife was his only weapon, he quickly wielded it.

But as luck would have it, the Slayer had been blinded by the inhumane nails that Bliss had driven into it. Reaching wildly it missed Unus completely, allowing for Unus to rush in and aim a killing blow with the Knife.

As soon as the creature dropped, it was obvious the pair wasn't alone. The rest of the Chaos creatures had followed their footsteps from above and had surrounded them while they fought the colossal demon. Lady Bliss acted quickly while Unus stared dumbfounded at the mass surrounding them.

Once Lady Bliss's gate was open, Unus hurled her through and then followed himself. That is where they found me, at the table moping because there wasn't any beer to drink. Someone needs to hire better bartenders. I wasn't drunk yet, so how the heck did I buy this story?

However, Lady Bliss's ankle was very swollen...
