Silver Mist Plagued By Softspots

In what is considered one of the more interesting events to hit Silver Mist in over a year, the shard has started to sink! Players walking around the shard first noticed the anomaly when taking a stroll through the Moonglow Zoo. When they arrived it was plain to see that not everything was right.

"The creatures...they were underground!" shouted Alaina just before she fell through a gaping whole in the ground. Afterwards, all that could be heard were her cries of "OoOo Oo OOOo ooo OO!" as the sound of flesh being ravaged revealed her fate.

Citizens are warned to stay clear of sunken areas until the ground has solidified once more. Lord British came forward to give the announcement.

"Fellow Citizens of Britiannia...Er Silver Mist! Sitting before us is a crisi-" Yep you guessed it. His throne fell through the floor. At this time no one is sure if this is an evil act being done by some mysterious force or if Silver Mist is just suffering a strange weather phenomena.

Local authorities say that if you manage to get stuck underground, use the mage spell Teleport to get around. If you can manage to get to a different level of ground then it is likely you can teleport to the surface.

What will happen to Silver Mist now? Will the citizens forever live in fear of the unknown? Will Alaina remain a shadowy form haunting the Moonglow Zoo forever? Will Autumn ever cook something decent? Only time can tell.

Lord Wind was not available to comment on these strange events.

Several citizens have found when getting off their mounts that their mounts fall through the floor! In order to save your mounts, do not get off of them unless they are bonded and you can recall to recollect them.

People can walk on water! It appears that during this time of unknown, water is no longer a threat to those of magic. Teleporting onto some areas on water will allow you to actually stand on water! This works in Ilsh as well as Tram and Fel.

Malas is completely blocked! If you happen to be logged out in Malas, DO NOT LEAVE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. You cannot travel back to your homes until these strange events are corrected. Using the gates there does not help. You are stuck on one spot and unlike in Ilsh, where you can teleport and then start to walk around, in Malas no tile is "visible" for teleporting.

Sink Holes Filled In

In what is known as one of the greatest events to reach Silver Mist in over a year, shard players have banded together to help solve the problem. Each one volunteering in their own way to "fill" the missing link on the hole problem. Harlotte, a brave Mistian, dedicated herself to finding the most troubling spots and took pictures of all the Kodak Moments.

As the event of the day comes to a close, those still doing time are set about filling in the holes that remain. Only half a dozen were torn apart before the Moonglow Zoo was effectively repaired.
When this media was finally able to contact Lord Wind, his response wasn't surprising.

"It's these *dang*(superstition required) Microsoft upgrades on my computer system. They screwed up my scripts. That and OSI told me I had downloaded the whole patch, which it DIDN'T and when I called them about it I got their automated response!"

Yep you guessed it. "I'm sorry; I can't help you with that."
