Demon of the Deep Called Forth! Ship Close to Mutiny.

Two daring souls, known to everyone as Trapsnare and Unus Occultus have done the unthinkable. They have openly called upon the demon of the deep, the mighty Leviathan to the surface all in the name of sports! According to the ships crew, both men seemed to be complete lunatics bent on global conquest. However it appears they want the water world first.

The story goes that the ship set out from harbor bearing the two occupants, their crew, and a Dark Wyrm. (The DW was later sent home for misconduct and will no longer appear in the story). It is reported that Unus Occultus and Trapsnare frequently fought over the command structure of the boat.

"I wain't sure who ta listen to!" cried one distressed sailor. "Their orders tended to be always contradictory and the crew and me almost tossed their sarry butts into the sea!" Finally, the conflict had been settled by a simple, "I paid for this expedition, so stop giving commands!" by Trapsnare, the bigot. As a result of the fight, Unus changed his name to Baracoon so the crew would no longer look to him.

That settled the crew set out for the open sea, where nothing approached them in their travels. As they reached their destination an eerie calm settled over the water. The freakishly white net was tossed in and out came the demons from h3ll. Immediately the crew was consumed with turning away, but Trapsnare regained control within a few yards. The boat was once again aimed at the water horde and into the slaughter they went.

Unus and Trapsnare worked left and right, spells flying and fiddles playing and pipes whistling as they peaced and attacked and healed. Finally the spawn was cleared and out of the deep the mother of all monsters appeared. At first the leviathan appeared not to notice the suddenly small boat beside it. Then a rage seemed to take over and half the crew was wiped over board by one angry sweep of its arms.

Control of the ships structure fell once more as Unus gave the command to back away. The remaining crew wasted no time in the effort, while Trapsnare turned red faced at the unwanted order. Suddenly a Claw ridden tentacle reached out of the water and wrapped around Trapsnare. Enormous Agony stretched on his face as Unus worked to free him from the iron grip. With a Flame spell, suddenly the grip was gone and the pair worked together to beat back the demon of the sea.

For hours they worked, fighting magic with magic and blood with blood. Bones littered the boat where they had been destroyed and reborn. The leviathan never seemed to tire! Finally a Mind Blast spell hit the beast dead center of its head and it began to retreat, waving its snowy white arms in the air as it fled at top speed. The remaining crew cheered and drove the small boat after it.

Trapsnare reached into the boats hold and brought out the Harpoon. "Hello Mr. Moby Dick! Eat my Harpoon!" With a loud shot the gun launched straight into the heart of the beast, killing it instantly. However, one final nerve twitch of the Leviathan sent its arms to wrap around the head of the boat.
"We're getting top heavy!" A sailor cried out. Recognizing the danger, Unus quickly used a levitation spell to move the body toward the center of the boat, where the crew set upon it with eagerness.

And so now, the adventurers sit around their cozy fires at home, with a Leviathan corpse strung up on the wall. (Trophy see: the pair sliced it in half and made two Trophy's Trapsnare got the left side and Unus the right...)

That's all for now, watch out for more from the Freak News Network!
