"Country Down"
My name is Ros Elynd.
Welcome.

A Collection of Notes
Knowledge is for sharing and enriching life.
I want thank all my outside sources, known and unknown.
In using your thoughts without your name,
I do not intend to steal your fame.
If I could give credit,where credit is due.
I would certainly give your credit to you.

It is the chiefest point of happiness
that a man is willing to be what he is.
--Desiderius Erasmus--

~~~~~~
A Creed for Those Who Have Suffered ~~~~~~~
by Roy Campanella
I asked God for strength,
that I might achieve.
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health, that I might do great things.
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy,
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life.
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things. . .
I got nothing I asked for ---- but everything I hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among men, most richly blessed! ------
ON
POSITIVE THOUGHT......
The greater part of our
happiness or misery depends
upon our dispositions,
and not on our circumstances.
We carry the seeds of
the one or the other
with us in our minds
wherever we go.
~Martha Washington~
(1732-1802)
U.S. First Lady
