Roses Are Red, My Love

Bar

"Roses are Red, My Love,
Violets are Blue,
Sugar is sweet, My Love.
But not as sweet as you."
Hearts Entwined
Pink hearts and roses,
Balloons and sweet perfume,
Once a year we share roses,
Enough to fill the room.

It is not enough, one time a year,
Gifts do not fill up a heart.
It's never enough, one time a year,
It's but a symbol and a start.

Flowers and candy, music and wine,
Love is more than candlelit songs.
More than soft music and wine,
For it each lonely heart longs.

Each moment shared is a treasure
Of both golden and silver times
And You are my greatest treasure.
More precious by far than these rhymes.
