My
Mother My Friend

My mother my friend these words ring so true
For we’ve heard them for years for our hearts
To go through
The poem we’ve read on how god made mothers
But a mother is so special like no other

For a mother does for her children
Like no other can do
Like go without clothes, food and even new shoes
But the children don’t know
She went without
So they could have the best and not do without
So to my mother, my friend, I want to say
Thank you for all you did in those days
For I did not understand what a mother was to be
Until my children came along you see
Back then I could not say my mother, my friend
But now that i’m older I can say it again and again
My mother, my friend you will always be
My mother, my friend, I love you…from me!
