Lady in the Mist
As I walk down by the shoreline
I see the Lady in the Mist
Wondering why she's here,
And what she's missed
What is she looking for
Is it a long lost love
As I sit upon the rocks
I pray to God above
It's as though she can see me
Or is she a negative of long ago
I gaze into her eyes
As she moves so very slow
Lady of the Mist
Why do you stare at me
Are you a really a reflection
Of the girl I used to be
I pray you find your loved one
Or the person that you seek
Your true love you will find
You are so very lovely, yet not discreet
I really don't know you, I wish I did
Lady of the Mist, why do you come to me
If only I could help her in some way
She fades away so quickly back to the Sea
