I Am My Fathers Son

Bar

This page is a memorial to a young man recently murdered. He was best friends with my two older children from the age of about 6 and like another son to me. He went through some rough times in his early adult life, but was on the mend, attending church and putting his life in order. He was cut out of this world at the young age of 32, leaving his young son to grow up without a father's love and guidance and others without their brother/son/friend. Many families have suffered similar losses... This is for Robert, his family, and those others cut early from life by acts of violence.

As you read this page, please offer a moment of quiet, a warm thought or a prayer for the victims of this violence. Thank You.

There Is A Tomorrow

When time seems short and you're down,
Think of tomorrow, it's still to come.

When the sun goes down on someone you love,
Think of tomorrow, they're home waiting.

When it seems that your life has been taken away,
Think of tomorrow, it's just begun.

When tears come forth as a river for someone,
Think of tomorrow, tears will be for joy.

When the sun goes down and the end is near,
Think of tomorrow, there's an eternal Son.

When you have to say good-bye to a loved one,
Think of tomorrow, there will be a reunion.

When the curtain closes and the show is over,
Think of tomorrow, the second feature is eternal.

When you're eyes dry and you feel better,
Think, There is a tomorrow.
