From The Doorway
From the doorway I watch you sleep
Your chest gently rising and falling
You smile as if you somehow know I am there
Your eyes twitch like you're caught in a dream
From the doorway I watch you dream
A wonderous dream
Filled with candies and toys
and all the delights of a little boy's heart
I wish you could stay this small forever
and always be my baby boy
But I know that cannot be
So for now I watch you sleep
