A Charlie Hug


Now there are many types of Hugs.
Like the arm around the shoulder squeeze.
Or the gentle stand off type,
Meaning "Don't touch me if you please."

There is the standard embrace.
A squeeze may be there.
Leaving you wondering,
Does he/she really care.

But there is one type of hug,
That stands all alone.
An off the floor lifting experience,
With squeezing to the bone.

That's known as a "Charlie Hug."
Not many given today.
But with this good morning message,
I'm sending one your way.

So consider yourself "Hugged."
In Charlie's special way.
And accept this Good Morning Greeting.
"Have a Nice Day."
